ed - as I predicted, DELL's percentage of revenue from servers, storage and such - their "enterprise segment" - is still 20% of revenue. Quarter after quarter DELL touts growing enterprise sales - this quarter they claim servers are up 50% and enterprise as a whole up 43%. Yet the percent revenue from those segments does not increase. Now we have a flat revenue quarter, with PCs stagnant, and still the percentage does not rise. More than 2 years into the game.

In order for the enterprise revenue to remain constant as a percent of overall revenue with those kind of unit growth numbers, when the overall revenue is flat, the unit sale price has to have declined by an amount equivalent to the unit growth. Hmmm.... what's going on?
