Since Amati licenses the DMT technology to Motorola, this would seem unlikely, though I'm not sure how the end-product licensing of CopperGold, itself, works. Beats me.

I wouldn't worry about it. Every chip that goes out of Motorola stamped with CG has to pay royalties to AMTX. :)
