Sanctuary Woods Gets Back On Track

Headline from Computer Entertainment Network magazine
(a trade publication) July issue- just hit the streets...

Well the bad news hit just as the good news is
starting to break!

Hilites of todays article:

..."Our educational products have shown a rapid acsent over the past
12 months and have held their market position despite the
reorganization, "she(CW) says, "The education group has been very
focused, and those retailers who have been carrying our
products over the past 12 months will acknowledge that they
have seen rapid improvements in every way."...

...In fact, adds Walker, PC Data sales figures indicate a 150%
increase in sell-through for SW education titles....

...SW will release NFL Math 96 in August with a networked,
multi-player version scheduled for October...

...SW now has more than 16 SKU's on the education side, but only 8 of
them are at retail. The others are sold through schools. Walker says SW
is increasing its sales to schools, which make up
about 20% of SW's business...

..."Clearly the bulk of our sales are at retail,
but we think its important to tie the schools programs
into our retail products and vise versa", she says,
"thers a long life for educational titles in the school markets
and last year our school sales quadrupled"...

...the company also recently signed an international deal
for one of its earlier titles, which will be used in the
Singapore educational system. Walker says the int'l opportunities
for older titles are expanding considerably...

*** BART...LOOK:

...although SW sold the entertainment studio's M4DS game creation
technology to Disney as part of the deal, the company
retains the right to use that technology for its own
developmental purposes...

After a bizarre turn of events, things are looking up
indeed. SW today retained the services of a
prominant investment bank
to get the $$$(they're not going to try another
do-it-yourselfer deal after Mondays fiasco).
