Never thought of this one. But I think it makes ton of sense. In Japanese business culture, loyalty weights huge. OTOH, I have being thinking about a full-featured VAIO box because I want nice integration with other SONY stuff. But before today, I was disheartened because the best VAIO AMD box was a Duron 800 without DVD. Now, I am a happy man! Knowing that SONY will have A4 notebooks (stripped or not), I will be happier. If SONY thinks AMD is fine, it's fine to everybody, including that *ell boy.
