Paid the price by overtaking Compaq as the no. 1 computer maker in the world? Doesn't sound like they paid a heavy price to me.
Then again, like I said before...IF (big IF) Dell makes Palomino notebook then someting is very very wrong with mobile tualatin. Delay, yield or price...

OTOH, Dell could always use Sony as an excuse for adding an AMD notebook but I consider this less likely.
