Jim, Re: X-box chips and "A disaster as they need to switch fab space over to .13u AND all they get is $30" I thought Intel was mostly building new facilities for 0.13 so that the present 0.18 facilities would largely remain available? This allows Intel to extend the productive life of this equipment and the process methods that result in high yields for PIII-733 for X-Box. Even at $30/x-box this is probably higher than Intel could earn by converting these wafers to other products as CPU production moves away from 0.18 technology. -PT
