General Magic to Showcase magicTalk Voice Gateway at V-World Conference
General Magic's magicTalk Voice Gateway 1.1 Now Generally Available

(NASDAQ:GMGC - news), a pioneer and innovator in voice application software and services, today announced its participation at the 4th annual V-World(TM), a global event dedicated to the speech recognition software industry presented by Nuance (NASDAQ:NUAN - news) that will take place May 20-23, 2001 at the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina. General Magic will be showing its recently announced and commercially available magicTalk(TM) Voice Gateway, the first in a suite of software products designed to enable businesses around the globe to quickly, efficiently and profitably develop and deploy voice solutions. Mark Strumwasser, vice president of sales and market development will also be speaking on ``Enabling Rapid Development and Deployment of Voice Applications with the magicTalk Voice Gateway,'' on Monday, May 21st at 1:30pm.
