... but then she stopped in her tracks. The Jag guy mentioned something about "the Kingpin".

Well, since Muffy was an accomplished bowler, and very proud of her 73 average, she knew just about every term ever used in bowling. She knew about the 1-pin, the 10-pin, all the ones in between ... and of course, the head-pin. But, she'd never heard of the Kingpin. "Must be something like a chess set", she mused, "where they make the pins look like medieval characters. The Kingpin must be the one in the front. Or, maybe it's in the middle, protected by all the Pawnpins. I wonder which one is the QueenPin?"

With those questions on her mind, Muffy continued on her way down the street, just barely conscious of the fact that the Jag guy was being very animated in his phone discussion.

"Betcha I break 75 my next game!", thought Muffy.

She hardly even noticed the tow truck pulling up along side the Jag, or the sign on its side that said "Ace Repossessions".
