Had a decent day, betting most of my bucks at Belmont Park. The NYSE has not gone
my way, so at least the New York track gave me some of my money back.
Today at Pimlico, an off pace horse won a race. It was much the best, on form, but still,
'it overcame the bias. There is a call for rain over night, so I hope my investments for
tomorrow don't get washed away by a slowing track.
I think the crowd tomorrow will make Monarchos the favorite. My bet should be 3-1, or better.
Coupled with Mr John, the exacta, while not of Derby proportions, should put a smile on my
face.
