And at that time, they were still only talking about teh modem part. People on this board were PROJECTING by rumor that this meant the entire laptop. Even so, imagine that if we have wireless things which are NOT user based, but use this service, that Q still collects royalties on the equipment being served. Example would be a system of automatic meter readers based on a single HDR modem installed in one neighborhood which then talked to 100 electric meters by 802.11 or bluetooth and relays the information back to a central office. Q may be the one to get royalties off of the HDR repeater box, costing like $150 or so. there are alot of other things too, such as Wingcast modems. He meant the increase of market share over that of just handsets. There are MANY data related things that one could project to use HDR if it were to become sucessful.
