Lol ... i've never confessed to this in public before, but not only do i have in the ancestry of my gringo side a line of Michells [pronounced 'Mitchells' among the anglosajones, and spelled in various forms due to the propensity of their language to sort of wander off topic when it comes to pronunciación], i have here a bound volume that cost me eighty-five 1982 loonies giving great detail about this ancestry, several prominent paragraphs of which seem to be an attempt to establish a familial link with the poet Shelley, and using, to explain the wide disbursement in alphabetical order, that same anglosajón disregard for the niceties of spelling it like it frickin sounds - the cousin of my ancestor who wrote it clearly wanted this badly, to associate with such a name to counterbalance, one presumes, the various personages hung for stealing and/or doing other things to sheep ... and he makes a credible case for the yet absolutely unproven but interesting possibility - indeed it could be that were Shelley alive today i might very well have to pick him up at the airport some time.
So - in re aznt - Did not my blood [or water, or air ... whatever] relation Shelley spend time in Italy where Janice purports to hang out amonga zee ilka whata doan knowa nothink abouta no atrailera parka in no Cluthe Tejas? ... and did he not there write -
To see a world in a grain of sand, And a heaven in a wild flower, Hold infinity in the palm of your hand, And eternity in an hour;
... a clear reference to the aznt corporate mimeograph/shareprinter machine! ... well it's right there plain as day isn't it, one doesn't even need that his wife wrote something in which Lon Cheney [Cheney - get it?? .. man the links go right to the top, this is the vice-('vice' - get it?)-presuhdent of the Yewnited States we're talking here] starred ... later a chapter on how Shelley Long ['Long' - get it?] left Cheers under mysterious circumstances and how no one named Short was fired at the same time ... also one on the time i was involved with Connecticut in flying over it ... well it might have been Cwebeck but for sure it started with C
I have no idea what's up with Pugs 'n Riley 'n the aznt saga beyond this thread, but <sigh> gee it feels good to get that confession off my chest</sigh> ... perhaps the internet is good for something after all |
