Hmmm. Well, I can't agree with item 2, as I can't see how flash will outstrip DRAM, SDRAM, etc., in volume. Computers are definitely the biggest memory using devices in the world, and are likely to remain so, I would think.

I really have no hard information about the cost of manufacturing flash memory. But I do know that it costs a lot more to make than DRAM, SDRAM, and even SRAM at this point. And I don't believe that that is simply a function of volume.
