<font color=green>AMD's NEW STEPPING!! AVIA
AVIA fever has hit ClubOC! These are easily the new overclocking kings of all CPU's. There have been several CPUs that have enjoyed that title in the past such as the famous Celeron 366 and PIII 700. Heck, just about everything from AMD this past year has been excellent for overclocking. Now, it's time for the Blue core T-birds to bow down to the AVIA T-bird. Now, I'm not saying that you will not find a CPU that will out overclock an AVIA core, it's possible. The reason that I have pronounced the AVIA as the new king, is as a whole, the entire line of AVIA & AXIA cores are overclocking between 1400MHZ and 1600MHz. That is truly amazing.
What is an AVIA Thunderbird?
The AVIA designation is the new stepping from AMD. Let me tell you now, they rock! OK, let me show you how to identify an AVIA 1gig T-bird. Turn your computer off. Set the multiplier to 10.5 and the FSB to 133. Don't touch the CPU voltage. If it boots, you have a new AVIA T-bird. Just messing with you... Now, I'm going to tell you how to really identify the new stepping. If you look at your CPU, you are going to see numbers written on it. Look at the picture below for an illustration....

Conclusion
I had 11 X 133 for 1466MHz, but it wasn't stable enough to run benchmarks. So what's the point of having 1466 if it's not 100% stable. The best part about this whole thing is I have a 400MHz overclock at 1.7v. A 40% overclock! With a little increase in voltage, this bad boy may be able to do a lot more. That's another review, though. If you are looking for the best overclocking CPU around, you can't go wrong with an AVIA or AXIA CPU. There is only one thing I can say about this CPU.
Hail to the King, baby!
