The Fastest Growing Stocks on the Street

This search has only one purpose: to handily beat the major indexes with the strongest growth stocks on the planet. This search strategy seeks out companies that have shown the ability to grow revenues rapidly in the past on a consistent basis and are expected to grow earnings by at least 40 percent a year for the foreseeable future.

Notable stocks currently appearing in this search: Applied Micro Circuits {AMCC} and Netegrity {NETE}.

****Sub-note on the success of this scan...

With returns like that, the search must have found numerous 10 baggers (stocks that have gained over 1000 percent), right? You better believe it! This search pulled up four of them: I2 Technologies, with a 2,147.9 percent return, Veritas, with a 1090.8 percent return, IDEC Pharmaceuticals, with a 1452.7 percent return, and Broadvision, with a 1704.7 percent return. Besides these few powerful performers, there were very few losers that made it into this search, which definitely helped the results. As a case in point, all six stocks that appeared in the two-year backtest showed gains. The bottom line of this search is that it is very selective, and it is this selectivity that appears to weed out big losers and select a few elite growth stocks.
