CRTQ announces 2 for 1 stock split. It still has its cash hoard. AMCE also has a cash load, it had announced a deal back in march, but recently said talks fell through.
PERS...is loaded with cash but according to the recent 10q, they owned a LOT of marketable securities as of 3/31.

BEDMINSTER, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 14, 2001--CORTECH, INC. (CRTQ - NASDAQ) today announced net income of $64,000 or $.03 per share for the three months ended March 31, 2001 compared to net income of $69,000 or $.04 per share for the three months ended March 31, 2000.
The Board of Directors also announced that it had approved a 100% stock dividend. The record date for the stock dividend will be May 22, 2001 and the distribution date will be June 1, 2001. After the stock dividend Cortech will have 3,695,618 shares of common stock outstanding.
Cortech is actively seeking acquisitions and/or a merger partner. |
