CYBER,

Back at the beginning of WWII, the 36th Infantry Division was a National Guard outfit. Naturally, they were mobilized and sent to war. I knew on one company from Caldwell, Texas that hit the beaches at Anzio, and Salerno. After that battle was over, out of a full Infantry Company, only 3 men were still standing. Anybody that wants to call National Guardsmen cowards, would be advised to keep their true identity a secret.
