Here is an article by Jimmy Carter -- an elected president -- that debunks the Bush theory that conservation does not work.

Windsock, I heard Bush speak on Thurs. on the tube and he isn't smart enough to understand the concept of conservation. I know that his SAT scores were supposed to be decent and he went to Yale but either he had help or he cheated his way through. I wish I could remember what the man said on Thursday but it was something like the sky is blue just because it is.....actually his comment was even more stupid and estoteric than that. He wasn't nervous, he wasn't talking fast, he wasn't angry....its just the way he thinks.

Sooo, the only way we will get what we want is to keep putting pressure on him and his administration like with ANWAR or with energy conservation and hope that he doesn't sanction a coup d'etat.
