Li seeks a hands-off role at PCCW The Daily Telegraph (UK Abstracts), May 18, 2001 Hong Kong telecommunications and Internet firm Pacific Century CyberWorks' executive chairman Richard Li hinted yesterday that he might give up his position as chief executive next year. Mr Li said in an interview that he would concentrate on strategy instead of focusing on the daily management of the company. Amid speculation that Mr Li will step down altogether, a PCCW spokesman said that Mr Li will retain his position as chairman.
