David, I guess I am in for the long haul at approx 18,so I will stay. What people forget is HLIT has very little U.S. exposure. Most of their sales are overseas, the last three quarters have shown that 70% of their sales are international. People think the U.S. is their market, and that TCI is their biggest customer. Well TCI has not been on the books for a year, and very little of thier sales are U.S.(approx 30%). That said I think for you it will be prudent to stay out of HLIT for the summer. I think they have a chance to have a big fall this year,I wouldn't miss that early September opportunity for anything. They also do not post what their researchers are doing, where their sales are,and to whom. In a vacuum of information a stock trades very erratically, and they release very little data about themselves. I was thinking what a kick for the stock if they announced a WDM product with 32 channels. I have noticed many WDM play selling at over 10X sales and p.e.'s over 100(UNPH and AFCI come to mind). HLIT with the right public relations could be selling like those nutty companies including CIEN and LU. Lets see a p.e. of 100 and p/sales over 10/1 gives HLIT a price around 100. This world seems a little bit out of kilter with relationship to WDM.
