****I couldn't find the original messege about GW's military history so this is directed to those who question. I think you would find that MANY kids of prominent business men and politicians on both sides escaped the death sentence we call Vietnam. A better question is (and I assume you have kids) would you have allowed your son to be drafted by our Government and sent to Vietnam? I honor and respect the men and women who served when their country called and I think the American public turned their backs on them (as if the military people had any choice in the matter) and that was wrong! However, I would never have allowed my son to be sent to Nam. I would have driven him to Canada myself. It's not a coward issue for me. I'd fight my @$$ off for the right reasons and especially if we had a foreign military running through our country. But to this day I don't really get why we would send our young men and women over there to die. I'm not so sure we had any business being there. JMO. "What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach... So, you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it! Well, he gets it! N' I don't like it any more than you men."
