Charles-- very true. No matter in house or contracted you can find a lot with msft certs. Looking for those with novl gets tougher,,, looking for others can be trying and quality questionable. My IT dept is down to 1 novl and the rest are msft. The novl guy is getting his msft certs updated as novl will be gone from our systems in 12 - 18 mo. The dept is down to 3 employees and 4 contractors and 3 pt contractors in the field -------- cpq does all the warranty wk on site(s). novl products, old & new, are much better than msft but it will soon be "novl who? what?" in most shops. Also, many sm businesses and even individuals will be paying for their software like the electric bill-- all upgrades, install, etc will be handled by the vendor (mostly msft) over the net.
