We have Ruby Reds growing in the back yard, along with a lemon, and an orange, tree. The subdivision we live in was once a citrus grove, and the trees have been here a long time. One major problem though, with my ulcers lying dormant, I can not eat any citrus fruit, or drink the juice, and risk waking them up. Colleen says the reds here are very sweet, but those from the Texas Valley were so sweet one would not even think of putting any sugar on them. I will never know, for sure, which is the sweetest.
