G.W.... thanks for the notice about that index. I'll do some research on it in the next few days. Right now the companies that make up the soxx are highly fragmented. Some are close to their highs and some are closer to their lows. What I find troublesome is the upward movement in the stock price of AMAT is inconsistent with the outlook for the next six months. Even stranger is the upward movement in ASYT which has the most dismal earnings and outlook of any company in the group. ASYT was 17 the day earnings were announced and now its near 21. Somehow this boxcar called ASYT got separated from the train. Perhaps a take over is in the works.

Anyone out there making assumptions about how next week will play out? I'm still thinking on it, and will post my opinions tomorrow afternoon. Mitch-C and Kdavy have posted some decent strategies recently, and their views should be considered. A good option player is always making short term bets on market and stock direction. Even being right 33% of the time can be very profitable.

Regards, Jerome
