Actually, I think the *masses* are interested in a "fast enough" "cheap enough" computer, and couldn't care what processor it has inside. AMD would be stupid to blow a lot of money on a big advertising campaign. Or at least would have been up until now, or over the next few months perhaps. I could see something reasonable timed for back-to-school and/or xmas.

Regarding the Dell thing, interesting... so Dell is building some number of A4 laptops... now we get to see if Intel can afford to pay them to mothball the lot of them.
