Following a severe drought, the tech plains have been much refreshed by spring rains. Young bulls rush out fearlessly to feed on the lush greens, while older bulls nibble tentatively along the fringes- not forgetting the vicious attacks that seemingly came out of nowhere to decimate the herd and drive them to cover. Much time will pass before some species fully recover, and some may never come back. . The long-necked Yahoos once visible everywhere, are seldom seen. Flocks of Bercooms appear less frequently. Range management, now acutely aware of the lost productivity, has implemented policies to make the range a more hospitable place, in hopes of preventing further losses. Just ramblin on.........................
