I got to thinking about other boys serving and it would be unfair for me not to. I volunteered for the draft. Got two weeks leave, rode the train to Chicago on New Year's Day. Got sworn in the next day and went to Fort Leonard Wood for basic training. Did my two years plus 4 in the reserves and got my DD 214, that's an honorable discharge for those of you who criticize President Bush but never got one.
