is it any different to "LIST PRICE" for John Doe off the street, as opposed to "discounted price" for "frequent customer Jane Doe" ?

Ya spend more with 1 company, you're entitled to "volume purchase discounts".

Like I said before - you always have the choice to spend your money with a different company.
