Glenn, who rates the raters? I've been watching these analysts for some time, and find their estimates little better than chartists. The longer I'm in the market, the more amazed I am at the power these people have to drive stock prices up or down based on their latest estimate. Paul, Zacks rates analysts in some fashion. Le me go find one and post it here. Be right back<G> Here is what Zacks has to say about the H&Q analyst. Hambrecht & Quist issued Company Report On July 22, 1996 Hambrecht & Quist analyst Joe Noel issued a 3 page Company Report on CASCADE COMMUN. Report highlights: " A STRONG BUY rating was maintained. It appears as though the company may win a significant piece of business from Nynex Corporation; however, this is several months away from being closed. The company also looks to have the best fundamentals of its industry peers. " Joe Noel is ranked 7 out of 17 when predicting changes in stock prices for Cascade Communications Corporation.
