I was commenting on the use of the word "sole".

ALA have been pretty successful, straddling a wide range of
technologies.

Personally I am not sure if the LU deal is a good idea.
If they could keep whatever gems exist and get rid of the
rest, fine.

However, a merger of this size has the potential to absorb
management energies for a LONG time.

Personally I like the approach of acquiring technologically
advanced companies and selling through the existing
ALA marketing structure.
