Delphi Group Declares Verity #1 in Portal Infrastructure Software
Market Study Shows Verity Leading Rapidly Growing Market
SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 21, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- In a just released study of the business portal market, Delphi Group, a business advisory service, determined Verity, Inc. (Nasdaq: VRTY chart, msgs) to be the leader of the business portal infrastructure software market.
The study evaluated the revenue performance of 43 companies competing in the burgeoning business portal software arena, a segment Delphi Group has been tracking since 1998. In the infrastructure software category, the research firm found Verity holding the top market share, 11.2 percent, for the year 2000. According to Delphi Group, infrastructure software provides the components of functionality for portal projects.
