Is there any difference in a P4 and the new Intel Xeon processors?

$50 and about 180 pins, it seems. Less flippantly, dual processor capability seems to be the main thing, for whatever it's worth. Anand has a big writeup today, at anandtech.com, there's some weird looking linpack graphs reminiscent of the clock throttling stuff. The Register has prices at theregister.co.uk . Perusing pricewatch, I was somewhat startled to see 733 P3 Xeons being dumped for $89, a little bit cheaper than Piii's of the same speed, probably due to the arbitrarily incompatible socket.
