Question: Has anyone noticed any increases in buffering on any of iNEXTV's video segments, particularly the very popular ones like Couch Confessions (CC)? Perhaps it is only occurring on the dial-up connections, but it certainly is occurring on my 56k connection. I've checked CC at different times, and it appears that around 11am through 12noon EST has the worse results. Today, I was getting a series of "slides" on CC, when previously those video segments were excellent. Also, some of the less than "boffo" video segments seem to have less buffering during the same time frame.
Could be good news/bad news.
Good News:
1) Since the amount of buffering appears to correlate with the popularity of the video segment (# of streams) and also the time of day, perhaps this is due to the increase in exposure (and hence increase in traffic) resulting from our current 100k/month potential viewers.
Bad News:
2) If item 1 above is true, then it means that some technological effort must be employed to address the problems being created by the increase in streams resulting from the success of iNEXTV's distribution network.

Even though the Broad Band connections might not be effected as much, remember that at the moment most connections are narrow band (approx 85%). That implies that the majority of users would get a bad video experience.

Has anyone had similar experiences or observations?
