Sudan and UAE link arms Upstream Sudan and the United Arab Emirates have approved a protocol on technical and scientific co-operation in the oil, gas and mining projects the two countries share. Sudanese news agency Suna reported that the Minister of Energy and Mining, Awad Ahmad Al-Jaz, presented a report on the protocol at Sudan's economic ministerial sector meeting. The protocol aims to consolidate the co-operation and bilateral relations between Sudan and the UAE.
