Who is to say where this ends with corporations, as long as productivity increases as well?

32x replaced by 64x; the corporation pays a higher price for 64x, yet relatively less per bit. during the transition from 32x to 64x there is a lag where what appears to be a price war is in actuality more of a preparation for the transition or transformation?

Maybe Dell is just playing the analysts, buying "public" and media like an old predictable harp prior to said transformation?
