ed. What of A.Grove's formulation? Intel has consistently brought down the price of processors all the while increasing the power of such. Who is to say where this ends with corporations, as long as productivity increases as well? 32x replaced by 64x; the corporation pays a higher price for 64x, yet relatively less per bit. during the transition from 32x to 64x there is a lag where what appears to be a price war is in actuality more of a preparation for the transition or transformation? Maybe Dell is just playing the analysts, buying "public" and media like an old predictable harp prior to said transformation?
