I've haven't seen the liberals-Washington or here on this thread-so stumped for answers. At least not since their buddies, the Soviet Union collapsed under the Reagan Bush pressure machine.
They just lost the tax fight, and looked stupid doing so.
They just lost the energy fight, overrun by the sheer honesty of the new administration. (Cheney doesn't even know HOW to lie. It doesn't occur to him. Compare that to Gore or Clinton?)
And, to little notice, they seem to be working a practical solution to the left-wing plans to torpedo judicial nominations-though expect that to be a real last-ditch war eventually.
Even the media is floundering.
That's momentum, but remember, it can change if diligence is not maintained.
With that warning in mind, I can't WAIT for Social Security Reform, Tort reform, and all those little tax reforms that they will trade for BS like minimum wage and excessive pork (which would have passed, anyway).
Hey Dems, cut the LTCG rate to 15% and you can have a minimum wage increase. The growth tradeoff is positive. |
