Mark, Thanks for the info on W2K services. It's so much more complex then msconfig. I'm not going to do any tweaking because my current objective isn't optimization. My other hard drive, with ME, is optimized for my use. The hard drive with W2K is for learning. Once I'm comfortable with my knowledge of W2K features I'll start tweaking. Happiest Trails, SFKAJB
