Observation / Comment -
A claim / statement on wwwquote suggests a difference with DBC which may need revising, as it seems either invalid or old I think:

................................................................

Q:
How is DBC's Signal for Windows or BMI different than wwquote ?

A:
Signal, BMI, and wwquote all provide real-time continuous quotes from the NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ exchanges. With wwquote there is nothing to install and runs in your web browser over the Internet. Say goodbye to expensive dedicated lines or satellite feeds. Signal is compatible with 3rd party charting and analytical software and wwquote is working toward offering compatible data.

.........................................................

The reason I think this claim is invalid is DBC's ** FREE ** Beta StockEdge on the Internet (aka Signal-on-Line) does at least this much using the internet as well.

MarketWatch is another product on the net too.

DBC's optional Satellite feeds are a major positive to consider when short term trading during volitile periods - The internet is not nearly as reliable as these infrastructures.

DBC seems to have the technical charting now as well - ** FREE ** free for now anyway.
