While waiting for the mouse to formulate a response, Muffy thought back over the last few hours' activities.

"Hmmmm ....", she mused. "Precious mentioned something about an orphanage. What a coincidence! I grew up in an orphanage, too. I wonder if we ever met when we were kids? Maybe we even lived in the same orphanage. Wouldn't that be a kick? It wouldn't surprise me, now that I know the secret of the "everybody is somehow related to everybody else" theory."

"Hey ... I wonder if she knows Matilda, my bestest ever childhood friend from the orphanage."

"Gosh ... I wonder if she *IS* Matilda!"

Muffy promised herself that the next time she ran into Precious, she'd bring this up to her. Poor Precious. See seemed like a nice enough gal. Out there on that gravel road with no shoes on. And, so close to that biker bar. You never know when those bikers are going to wake up. And, if they think Precious had anything to do with that little knock-down-the-bikes prank that Muffy pulled, it would be lights out for Precious. With or without shoes.

Muffy heard Ben (the mouse) squeek excitedly ...

"The DZ! Get the DZ!"

Sadly, Muffy had no idea what that cute little mouse was talking about. However, she had seen war movies where they talked about the Dimilitarized Zone. That must be it. Yeah. DZ. How do you "get" a DZ?
