Gordon,

Your link shows a massive 9,378 MW under construction, and expected to be on line in the next two years. It is likely that California will have an oversupply in two years. This is on top of the 9 or 10 new facilities already brought on line.

The comments from the SOE, President and Vice-President about California energy are outright lies.

Is this statement by Spencer Abraham the truth?- "There are peak problems right now because California hasn't brought any new supply into place in 10 years, no new facilities, and so they've got an imbalance, but the way to solve it isn't price caps. "

It is clear that the Republican administration of Pete Wilson did not do well in the early 90's, but the Democrats have been doing much better.
