Great work, Maverick! Your picks are spot on...and I think we've both been on the same page regarding the market in general for many weeks now. The best opportunities inevitably arise when things look the bleakest, don't they?!
As for JT and lawn tix, I agree with your take with but one very major caveat: of all the artists and bands I've EVER played with, worked for, or even seen (perhaps a few hundred in total), the two very best that come immediately to mind are Garth Brooks in 91-92 and James Taylor right now. This is not a constant pump of energy like Springsteen, Aerosmith, Stones, etc. This a journey of masterful popular songwriting and performance that literally sweeps and swoons through 30 years of hits; foot-stomping rockers, blues, R & B, with odd and pleasing bits of folk and country thrown in for good measure. His charm, wit and natural sense of humor are immediately apparent (and all the more obvious when you consider that Robin Williams and Eric Idle are friends of his). Whether you're in the first row or the last, you will not be disappointed. You'll leave with a big smile and a genuine fondness and respect for the man and his music....plus, the band just absolutely kicks frickin' *ss, too!!
Other than that I really have nothing good to say about the show.
