Soon she fell asleep, and those old dreams began again...

She dream remembered how her dad had swung the buggy whip at her till the blood would flow. She always hated him and she would have killed him if he hadn't kept her so busy doing that and this.

Muffy's dad had sold reality boxes before she was orphaned. For awhile he had made a decent living. He would infuse each box with a personalized reality, and the buyers would walk away clutching their box, and secure in their ability to escape pain and suffering by simply peering into their private reality with the coloured crayons of hope. But then things changed.

Muffy's dad ran out of boxes and began to use empty pickle jars. It was this cheap cutting of corners which proved to be his demise. It turned out that a reality that made you wrinkle your nose was not a reality positioned to attract a huge demand.

After a necessary plea bargain he fled to a foreign country and sold time shares. Muffy ended up in an orphanage feeling unloved and unwanted. She came to believe that when people had multiple orgasms they were doing it for her...

Slowly she came back to the present, and she realized that she needed to pee. The clock had stopped on the microwave. Probably unsafe.
