High speed circuit switched data communication now available to over 70 million GSM users worldwide individual.com GSM Association tooting their horn about High Speed Circuit Switched Data (HSCSD), speeds between 28.8kbit/sec and 43.2kbit/sec. I thought GPRS was supposed to make this upgrade unnecessary. They still talk about GSM, HSCSD, GPRS, EDGE, 3GSM/W-CDMA evolution with a new handset for each step. Have you noticed the GSMA's attempt the last few months to relabel W-CDMA 3GSM?
