If this is the case, one could argue that Mr. Cheney was, in fact, not totally truthful. However, it does appear that almost the same number of plants were decomissionsed during the same period.

Certainly, it does appear that in any material sense, Mr. Cheney was correct. The amount of new capacity over the last ten years does, in fact, appear to be minimal, while the demand has surged.

While I think this entitles you to make your argument, I certainly would not put it in the category of a Monica Lewinksy or Campaign-contributing Monk lie...
