Charles,

The Economic definition of a recession is 2 consecutive Quarters of negative GDP growth. That hasn't happened; and, at this point, it's beginning to look less likely that it will.

There's no argument whatsoever that the cyclical businesses, especially this sector have seen the downleg of a cycle. That is not a recession when talking about Alan Greenspan, the Fed and the overall economy.

If we look only at the sector; or only at my net worth, then there's definitely been a massive recession. :-(
