Relations have never been worse. Are "relations" important or is standing up for our values important? Clinton had great "relations" (I don't just mean Monika) while prostituting the Presidency. Contributions to the DNC and photo-op publicity seemed to determine his foreign policy more than anything else. Remember that Chamberlain had great "relations" with Hitler for awhile...making good decisions for the USA often flies in the face of "relations" and world opinion.
