zwollf,
From the article:

"None of this inspires confidence and, to my eye, finds no
parallel in Hewlett-Packard’s sensibly aborted acquisition
of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ consulting practice. CATP
was a company in distress bought by a company in
distress. So, where is the synergy? Don’t ask me; I don’t
see any."

I have said it before, the whole deal getting the failing CATP into Novell was nothing more than:
"'I got you the 10 cent options, now, you help me with CATP, to hell with the stockholders".

Regards, Dieter Koerner
