Are you certain? I have seen that CAT5E - but thought it was only good to 300 - 400 MBPs. The packaging on the CAT5e I ended up buying said it is good to 1000Mbps. If you do a search, most vendors claim it is good to that speed. google.com It's my understanding that some of the new multi-mode fiber solutions are even cheaper than CAT5/5e cabling. Bob
