That is precisely a point I made a week or so ago. The problem is not short term oil prices, the problem is long term consumption needs if the developing world is going to finally develop. For that, a mix of conservation, new exploration, and further work on alternatives is needed. However, I do not believe one can leave exploration out of the mix. The Caspian is very promising, and the Arctic reserves are even more available.......
