In Brasil the people are friendly everywhere. Really nice and hospitable and helpful. The coffee was incredible it was like three shots of Scotch per cup. I think the beer was called Brahma and they drink a rum mash called Pitu.
It was like being in a different world.

At Florence there was no McDonalds so we would go to the train station to a place called Burgy's. The most interesting members of Florentine society are all there in the evening! I walked all the way to the race track one day - and came back in the evening and met many Romanians!!
