Scumbria, The proper training of individuals working in and around these plants should be demanded by anyone living remotely close to them. Also, the building of the plants has to be correctly inspected and monitored by individuals void of corruption. Even if the plants are built correctly it would be easy for private employers to hire unqualified, low paid, individuals to operate and maintain them. If we go to nuclear then we had better have some kind of regulatory board with credibility and clout! JMHO
